That Was Summer

Remember dipping your toes into the sea and feeling a chill up your spine? (Whaea)

Remember when you shivered as you first stepped into the pool? (Whetu)

Remember seeing plants growing and hearing the beautiful birds singing? (Joziah)

Remember the smell of barbecue on Christmas Day? (Emmer)

Remember jumping off the diving board and splashing everyone? (Tre R)

Remember that Hawaiian pizza that tasted scrumptious? (Marcus)

Remember that time when we went to the movies and sat on the comfy chairs? (Peter)

Remember when you felt the excitement as you were going to the movies? (Tre H)

Remember when I had a piece of gum and my chilly mint breath was turning into a rotten egg? (Maui)

Remember when we smelt the fresh food on the barbecue? (Xzodia)

Remember when we waited for chips and we saw smoke rising from the basket? (Johnny)

Remember the freezing water when we jumped into the gigantic pool? (Soane)

Remember the delicious hot chocolate with mini marshmallows, cream and strawberries that melted your taste buds on Christmas Day? (Sian)

Remember when we heard the Year 6’s singing their graduation song and looking at the teachers who were devastated because they were leaving? (Calvin)
